Résumé
Objectifs
To demonstrate the normal ultrasound anatomy of the perizygomatic and periorbitalareas with attention to vascular channels.
Matériels et méthodes
33 patients over 2 years were preoperatively scanned with a GE Voluson E-8 unit employing linear 17 MHZ probe with 3D angio and glass body power doppler image reconstruction.
Résultats
Preoperative anatomic mapping of major arteries and nerves was closely correlated with operative findings in each of the facial danger zone regions : periauricular, temporoparietal, mandibular, parotid, supraorbital, infraorbital and perimental areas. Postoperative bleeding and seroma formation was reduced.
Conclusion
Preoperative ultrasound vascular anatomic mapping allows the prevention of hemorrhage during interventional procedures.

Very good images.... 3D improves the performances of 2D resolution. Need now somes devices for automatizations of this use according to me.
